Silk Kimono Nishijin Brocade Guitar Strap

This guitar strap is made from a new silk Nishijin brocade kimono obi.

This is the highest class of brocade, with patterns that appear on treasures in the Shōsō-in such as instruments, textiles, and lacquerware.

The Shōsō-in (正倉院) is the treasure house of Tōdai-ji Temple in Nara, Japan built in the 8th century.

The back of the strap is comfortable cushioned nylon mesh, which is very practical for actual use.

The metal part is vintage processed brass.

The length is adjustable.
